Ministry: Older Adults

Chairperson: Mary James

Purpose: Our purpose and mission is to involve members of Francis Burns and the Francis Burns community who are ages 55 and above in activities that promote hope, health, fellowship and kindness to others. The Older Adults Ministry meet monthly for fellowship and to share information about health and other services available to seniors adults in the community. We also plan trips to interesting locations. Some of our caring activities include the following:

• • Donations to Harvest Hope Food Bank
•  • Care bags to Oliver Gospel Mission
•  • Support to Children's Garden; a daycare for homeless children
•  • Donations for the Caring Tree Christmas wish list

We invite all Older Adults 55+ to become a part of our fun and active ministry
