Ministry Name: Health & Welfare Ministries

Chairperson: Bernetta D. Cooper

Purpose: The Health and Welfare Ministries is to be a liaison with specific organizations, people and resources in the community and congregation that minister through health and welfare programs. To encourage the congregation to be aware of the needs of those persons with chronic health & handicapping conditions especially the need for the church to be structurally accessible. To promote the observance of Golden Cross Sunday and other efforts to provide financial support for health and welfare ministries.

Description of Ministry: The Health and Welfare Ministries strives to involve the congregation in a comprehensive understanding of healthcare needs in the community and the congregation, especially those with chronic health conditions and disabilities so that the quality of their lives maybe improved and become healthy and whole.
